Started a new training schedule so that I can build mileage. 5 am 4 miles fast ( in the dark on the road) after school two(ish) miles with the dog. ( he can do a 10 k but he ain't getting any younger).
Beginning of a new school year. Will need to tweak training schedule. This was with dog so pace is affected by whether or not he decides to disappear trail run.
Hot and humid . Tried to push too hard after 2 week training lull. Plan on increasing mileage by 10% per week for Stonecat marathon in November (same day as the NYC marathon) this was a trail run.
